The latest in the "Tokyo Ghoul" series, "Tokyo Ghoul: re," will be adapted into a TV anime in 2018!

It has been announced that "Tokyo Ghoul Tokyo Ghoul: re," the latest in the "Tokyo Ghoul" series, will be broadcast as a TV anime in 2018.



Tokyo Ghoul Tokyo Ghoul" is a dark fantasy set in modern Tokyo, depicting people at the mercy of ghouls, monsters that blend into society in human form in order to feed on human flesh. It was serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (published by Shueisha) from September 2011 to September 2014, and a new chapter, "Tokyo Ghouls: re," has been serialized since October 2014. It was adapted into a TV anime (first season) from July to September 2014, and "Tokyo Ghoul: Tokyo Ghoul √A" was broadcast as the second season from January to March 2015.

The third season of the TV anime, "TOKYO GHOST TOKYO Ghoul: re," will begin airing in 2018, and its teaser visual and teaser PV have now been released.


Natsuki Hanae, who played Ken Kaneki, the main character of the previous series, has been chosen to play the role of the main character, Noriyo Sasaki. Here are some of the comments from the cast.
