MFJ Land! Yurika Kubo and Akari Kito talk with Shoya Chiba and M.A.O! Welcome to the Classroom of the Highest Level of Achievement" radio show

On Sunday, September 10, 2017, at Bellesalle Akihabara in Tokyo, light novel label MF Bunko J, which celebrates its 15th anniversary this year, held its event "Summer School Festival 2017: Let's Go Together, MFJ Land! was held at Bellesalle Akihabara in Tokyo. A "Welcome to the classroom of supreme merit" special time was held as a stage event at the venue.

Welcome to the Classroom of Meritocracy" is a popular light novel written by Akio Kinugasa and illustrated by Shunsuki Tomose. It is a coming-of-age story that takes place in a merit-supremacy school where only those who excel are given favorable treatment. The story is currently being developed as a media mix, and at this event, the cast of the TV anime currently airing on the web radio, "Welcome to the Radio of Merit Supremacy," was recorded publicly for the first time. The personalities were Akari Kito, who plays Suzune Horikita, a cool girl who does not want to interact with others, and Yurika Kubo, who plays Kushida Kikyo, a beautiful girl with a strong backstory. After the program's OP was played and the two facilitators made opening announcements, Shoya Chiba, who plays the inconspicuous but actually scheming protagonist Kiyotaka Ayakoji, and M.A.O., who plays the timid glasses girl Airi Sakura, appeared one after the other. Mr. Chiba was making his first guest appearance since the second radio broadcast, while Ms. M.A.O. was making her first guest appearance. After the greetings, a light talk begins.

Mr. Chiba also made the audience laugh by mimicking the gestures of Masaaki Mizunaka, who plays the violent Class C leader Sho Ryuen during postrecording.

From this point on, the program proceeded with the audience's e-mails. Mr. Chiba, who was teased again this time in the fashion check that was also in the second broadcast (which, by the way, was rated quite high in the program), said, "By being teased, I tell the men in the audience how they should dress to the women today!　I'm manipulating them behind the scenes, just like Ayanokoji".

Next, in reference to the deserted island episode that is currently airing, an e-mail question was asked, "If you could take only one thing with you to live on a deserted island for a week, what would it be? The question was posed as a survival strategy. Kito-san was in a resigned mood, saying, "I'm too weak to survive. If you have the willpower, you can do something. Kubo said to Kito, "Then I'll bring Shika-san (*Kubo's nickname) with me! Mr. Kubo was ready to rely on Mr. Kito. Mr. Kubo said he would take M.A.O. with him, and they finally came to the conclusion that they would survive by the "wisdom of three. Mr. Chiba, who had been left out of the group (?), said, "I'm going to go with the flow. Chiba, who was left out of the group, was sad that he could not take M.A.O. with him.

Kito and Kubo dropped from class B to class C. We all agreed that it is really difficult to move up to the A class.

In the "Yojitsu Information" section at the end of the program, the long-awaited information about the event for package purchasers was revealed!　The audience cheered to the daytime and nighttime performances by Mr. Chiba and other splendid members. When asked at the end what they thought of today's event, the two guests replied, "I think we can have fun in the future. I want to play with everyone again" (Chiba) and "It was a lot of fun. I would love to have another revenge match" (M.A.O.). At the end of the event, the four members bowed to the audience and said, "Thank you very much! and bowed deeply to the audience.
