Today, October 11, 2017 (Wednesday), the animated video "ROAD TO YOU - The Road Leading to You" began to be distributed to promote the studless tire "WINTER MAXX 02 (Winter Maxx Zero Two)" manufactured by the tire brand Dunlop.

ROAD TO YOU - The Road Leading to You" was produced as part of the promotion of Dunlop's best ever studless tire "WINTER MAXX 02". Manga "The Last Weapon Girlfriend" and "Ii Hito. The music and theme song are by Kage Nagi Suda, who was active on Nico Nico Douga as "Balloon. The film is produced by Answer Studio, the studio behind last year's smash hit "Kimi no na wa. --What are your impressions of playing the role?

Kamiya You two are young, aren't you?

Kamiya & Sawashiro (laughs)

Kamiya When I saw the way he frowned at her teasing thoughts, not knowing how to react, I thought, "Ryota is a good guy.

Sawashiro: I'm like that too.

Kamiya & Sawashiro (laughs)

Sawashiro What? Mr. Kamiya, are you giving me a compliment? (Laughs)

--Kamiya This is a "winter anime," so is there a winter episode that stands out in your mind?

--What are your impressions of "ROAD TO YOU ~Kimi ni Tsunagaeru Michi~"?

Kamiya: The relationships between parents, daughters, business partners, lovers and ......3 pairs were clearly depicted in a short time, and I felt each of them had a story to tell. Their lives seem to shine brightly, perhaps because they are caring about someone else and living their lives to the fullest.

Sawashiro: This is a story in which a car literally drives alongside the lives of each of the three pairs. The feeling of rushing to the meeting place after work, the feeling of having my father drive me to and from my lessons when I was in elementary school... I think all of the pairs had feelings that I could personally relate to. Even if you have no connection to cars yet, there are moments when you feel nostalgic indirectly. We hope that each of you will join this short story as the fourth group with a story related to a car that you remember.

＜Masaki Tani & Minami Tsuda

--What are your impressions of playing the role?

Tani: Watching the interaction between the single father and his daughter, I wondered what had happened to the two of them before and how they were in this situation. I thought, "I'm not sure. The scene was only about a minute long, but I was very interested in it. So, if there is a next time, I would like to play the role of father and daughter with you again (laughs).

Tsuda: At that age, I have experienced that kind of situation where I don't mean to be harsh, but I end up being harsh (laughs).

--How was it working together on the recording?

Tsuda: Tani-san has such a nice voice (laughs).

Tani You have a very pretty voice yourself!

Tsuda The microphones were close together in the booth, so I was able to hear Tani-san's voice up close, which I thought was a luxury. I would be proud to have a father like that.

--This is a "winter anime," so are there any winter episodes that stand out in your mind?

Tsuda: Since I moved to Tokyo, I am once again thankful for my family. Especially during the cold winter season, there are many moments when I feel the "warmth of family" deeply. In winter, I have an image of eating warm food together, like a hot pot, so I feel lonely when I sit down to a hot pot by myself (laughs).

Tani: I've heard it all (laughs). I think this work is perfect for winter because you can feel the love of family members.

--What are your impressions of "ROAD TO YOU ~Kimini to Tsunagaru Michi~"?

Tani: I loved the expression on the father's face as he beamed when his daughter handed him a warm can of coffee. My imagination is filled with ideas of how the father and daughter will live together in this northern town. I would love to see the grown-up Mai again in a different story.

Tsuda: The atmosphere of the songs and pictures gave me a gentle and warm impression overall. So, even if the characters have a serious atmosphere, it does not make me feel scared, and I feel relieved when I watch it. I personally like the father's "This guy ......" after finding Mai. I think it's also a clever touch that the tires only appear for a little while in Dunlop's anime! They are hidden in the familiar, but still support something important. --What are your impressions of playing the role?

Nojima The relationship between the two of them is not just that of a TV personality and a manager.

Asano: It's kind of erotic (laughs). I had a lot of imaginations during the recording (laughs).

Nojima & Asano (laughs)

Asano: I played Kay, thinking that she must have a backbone, having come to Tokyo from a snow country and succeeded as a celebrity. Incidentally, I am also from a snow country and spent my childhood thinking, "Tokyo is so nice!

Nojima Also, Jin has a backstory that he is not good at boats, but I hope you will pay attention to that because it shows the human side of the character.

--How was it working together on the recording?

Asano: I had a feeling before the recording that if you played Jin, you would have a gentle voice but a cool and straightforward personality, but you turned out to be just as mature as I imagined.

Nojima: I'm afraid to say so (laughs).

(laughs) -- This is a "winter anime," so do you have any memorable winter episodes?

Asano: I am from Akita, but I didn't understand the meaning of the comments on TV programs in Tokyo, such as "I hope this winter will be a white Christmas. It's rather because there is no time when it is not white (laughs). Also, when I was a child, I used to lick the icicles like candy (laughs). The smell of snow = the smell of winter.

Nojima: I am the opposite. I live in Tokyo, and we are not blessed with snow. ...... I happened to be working in Niigata last Christmas, and I thought, "This is going to be a white Christmas! I thought, but no way, it was a downpour and a beautiful rainbow (laughs). I continue to yearn for a white Christmas (laughs).

--What are your impressions of "ROAD TO YOU - The Road Leading to You"?

Asano: I was very fascinated by the drama of various people packed into a little over 3 minutes of video. I found myself imagining where and with whom I will spend the winter this year. Personally, I grew up in a snowy area, so I missed the feeling of winter nights. I'm also curious to see how Kay and Jin's adult romance will turn out, so I'm looking forward to reading more (lol)!

Nojima I was immediately absorbed into the world by the beauty of the pictures and the music. What a warm feeling, even though the wind against my skin was cold. When people think of others, even if they are pessimists, they can become warm through kindness. When I see kindness, I am filled with exclamations. I was flooded with several of them while watching this film, and then again after it finished playing. When you create a work of art, you must also be somehow connected to kindness. I want to be a person who is aware of this in my daily life, whether it is at a family restaurant, in front of the computer when I am on deadline, during a lesson, during postrecording, while driving a car, or anywhere else.
