Autumn Anime "The Land of Jewels" BD & DVD Volume 1 will be released on December 20! Newly illustrated jacket and luxurious enclosed bonus are also revealed!

The release date of the first volume of Blu-ray & DVD of the TV anime "The Land of Jewels," which is currently airing, has been set for December 20, 2017 (Wednesday).

The "Land of Jewels" is a popular comic series written by Haruko Ichikawa and serialized in "Afternoon" (Kodansha). In the distant future, in a world where creatures that once existed have become "jewels" with immortal bodies, this action fantasy depicts a fierce battle between the "moon people," a mysterious enemy that comes from the moon, and the jewels.

The release date for the first volume of the Blu-ray and DVD has been set for December 20 (Wednesday). The first volume will include a priority sales application ticket for a special event to be held in April 2018, the first part of a special soundtrack featuring music that colors the world of the work, a 32-page collection of original artwork Vol. 1, reprinted character cards (chibi-character version), and other luxurious extras. and a reprinted character card (chibi-character ver.).

In addition, a jacket illustration newly drawn by character designer Asako Nishida has been unveiled!　The beautiful and fantastic illustration shows the main character, Fosfophyllite, as well as four other jewels (Shinsha, Morganite, and Gauchenite) lying on a grassy field.
