Robot Girls Z" and "Miracle Robot Force" collaboration event report ! Additional appearances by Rie Murakawa, Aki Saigetsuji, and Moemi Otaka

A report has arrived on the collaboration event held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 between "Robot Girls Z," a project anthropomorphizing Super Robot anime produced by Toei Animation, and "Miracle Robot Force," a project that transcends the boundaries of production companies.

The "Robot Girls Project" started in full swing in January 2014, anthropomorphizing a series of super robots including "Mazinger Z," "Great Mazinger," and "Grendizer," all created by Go Nagai.

Nippon Animation, Aiken Corporation, and Wako Productions, Inc. have collaborated to create a project in which "UFO Warrior Diapolon," "Gosei Sentai Mekander Robo," "Blocker Gundan IV Machine Blaster," and "Super Combination Magic Robo Gingaiser" will collaborate on the project "Miracle Robot Force".

This event is a collaboration of the above two projects and consists of a first part in which selected episodes from "Mazinger Z," "Blocker Corps IV Machine Blaster," "Gaiking," and "Super Combined Magic Robot Gingaizer" will be screened at the theater, and a second part in which guests will be invited for a talk show. The second part consists of a talk show with invited guests.

In the talk corner after the second part of the show, a new petit character animation "Resurrection of the Underground Empire" which will be included in the "Robot Girls Z Full Complete Blu-ray" to be released in 2018 will be shown. Robot Girls Z vs. the Three Leading Robots! It was announced that Rie Murakawa, Aki Saigetsuji, and Moemi Otaka will make new appearances in the "Robot Girls Z" series.

Ms. Murakawa will play "Gobari-san", whose motif is based on the TV animation "Psycho Armor Gorbarian" broadcasted in 1983, Ms. Saorenji will play "Guro-chan", whose motif is based on the TV animation "Gloizer X" broadcasted from 1976 to 1977, and the special effects Mr. Otaka plays "Mr. X" based on the motif of "X Bomber," a special effects puppet show broadcast from 1980 to 1981.

It was announced that Ms. Saorrenji and Ms. Otaka will also appear in the second part of the "Robot Girls Z Corner" at the "Super Robot Manga Festival" to be held on Sunday, November 12.

On Saturday, October 7, 2017, a "Robot Girls Z" vs. "Miracle Robot Force" collaboration event was held at United Cinema Odaiba, with cast members Mariko Honda, Kaoru Takaoka, Hinaki Yano, Ayaka Nanase, Aki Saidrenji, animation researcher Hiroshi Igarashi, and manga artist Kazushi Hinoki on stage The support screening was "Mazinger Z".

The supporting screenings included "Mazinger Z," "Blocker Gundan IV: Machine Blaster," "Daikuuma Ryu Gaiking," and "Super Combined Magic Robot Gingeizer." Igarashi and Hinoki participated in audio commentaries of all the films and the cast members in the original works of the characters for which they provided voice acting. And finally, "Robot Girls Z" episode 3.5, "Incandescence! The passionate fans of Super Robot anime who gathered at the venue were excited to sing the opening themes of all the works, poke fun at the bizarre storylines unique to Showa-era anime, and shout along with the audience during special moves and other scenes. Many of the cast members and audience members were attending the cheering screenings for the first time, but it was hard to believe that it was their first time.

During the talk corner, "Aki Tiger II" suddenly burst into the venue with the entrance music of "Tiger Mask II," and everyone asked, "Aki (Sairenji), right? Aki, right? Aki Tiger is live-streaming the event as revenge for the failure of Saiorenji's mission to play Z-chan's character song at the end of the Nico Nico Live special broadcast on Monday, July 24 this year.
