Anime "Natsume's Book of Friends", the movie version will be released in 2018! Natsume Yuujinchou Riku" BD&DVD volume 5 includes a special unaired TV episode "Yumegen no Kakera" PV.

The popular anime series "Natsume's Book of Friends," which will mark the 10th anniversary of its anime adaptation next year, has announced the production of a theater version.

Natsume's Book of Friends" is a popular manga series serialized in "Monthly LaLa" (Hakusensha) by Yuki Midorikawa, in which the main character, Takashi Natsume, along with his bouncer, Nyanko-sensei, meets and grows up with various people and yokai.
⇒2017 Spring Anime

The production of a theater version of the anime "Natsume's Book of Friends" was announced at the "Natsume's Book of Friends Riku" public recording event - Autumn Talks - held on October 8, 2017. The movie is scheduled to be released in 2018, and the animation production will be handled by Shunatsu, the production company behind "Natsume Yuujinchou: The Book of Friends" and "Natsume Yuujinchou: Riku". In conjunction with this production announcement, the official "Natsume's Book of Friends the Movie" page ( # ) and a teaser illustration depicting Natsume & Nyanko-sensei were also released.

In addition, the PV of "Yumegen no Kakera", a special TV special episode included in "Natsume's Book of Friends Riku" Blu-ray & DVD volume 5, which will be released on October 25 (Wed.), has also been released, so be sure to check it out as well.
