On Monday, October 9, 2017, in-store visits and live events by the voice actors were held to celebrate the broadcast of the fall anime "Wake Up, Girls! New Chapter.

Wake Up, Girls!" is a coming-of-age ensemble drama about the struggles of seven girls in Sendai who aspire to become idols, with the TV anime and theater production starting simultaneously in January 2014; a spin-off production, "Uwake Up Girls ZOO! Girls! Sequel The Movie" will be released in September/December 2015. A voice actor unit of the same name consisting of the main cast is also actively working as artists, and many collaborative projects related to the holy city of Sendai have been developed.

This event was held to commemorate the first broadcast date. The voice actors visited stores in Akihabara, Ikebukuro, and Shinjuku (10 stores in total), and from 5:45 p.m. at VenusFort in Odaiba, a mini live performance was held by "Wake Up, Girls! New Chapter.

In addition, a special program, "The first live broadcast of 'Wake Up, Girls! ～The special program will also include the following events and products: "Wake Up, Girls! During the special program, future products and events were also announced.

First, on December 20 (Wed.), as the third installment of the "Wake Up, Girls! New Chapter Character Song Series," singles for each of the seven Wake Up, Girls! members, including Shimada Mayu (CV: Yoshioka Masyu), will be released. The following Wednesday, December 27, the first volume of the Blu-ray will be released for 3,500 yen (including tax)!
