TV anime "Basilisk: Sakurabana Ninpocho" to start airing in January next year! Starring Yu Hatanaka and Inori Minase! The theme song will be sung by Yin-Yang-Za and Nana Mizuki, as in the previous work!

The TV anime "Basilisk: Sakurabana Ninpocho" will begin airing in January 2018. In addition, it was announced that the main characters will be played by Yu Hatanaka and Inori Minase, and that the theme songs will be sung by Onmyoza and Nana Mizuki, respectively, just as in the previous work.

Basilisk: Koga Ninpocho" is an animated TV series based on the manga by Masaki Segawa, featuring high-speed ninja battle action and a love story between young men and women. Based on the novel "Koga Ninpocho" by Futaro Yamada, 24 episodes were broadcast from April to September 2005, produced by Gonzo.

In July this year, it was announced that "Sakurabana Ninpocho: Basilisk New Chapter," written by Masaki Yamada, would be adapted to TV animation as the first new chapter in 12 years, and this time new information has been released, announcing that the TV animation will start broadcasting in January 2018.

In addition, the main staff and cast were also revealed along with the first key visual.
The animation will be directed by Junji Nishimura, who has worked on "ViVid Strike!" and the animation production will be handled by Seven Arcs Pictures, which has worked on the "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha" series.

The lead roles will be played by Yu Hatanaka as Hachiro Kouga and Inori Minase as Hibiki Iga.

It was also announced that the opening theme will be performed by Yin-Yang-Za and the ending theme by Nana Mizuki, as in the previous "Kouga Ninpocho".

In "Koga Ninpocho," the elite ninjas of the Kouga and Iga clans were divided into 10 factions and fought a battle to kill the successor to the Tokugawa family using ninjutsu beyond the reach of ordinary people. We hope you will keep your eyes peeled for more information.
