TV anime "Sakura Quest", the official report of the SP event has arrived! Event footage will be included in BD&DVD Vol.6~7!
An official report from the special event "Manoyama Summit in Differ Ariake" held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 has arrived from the TV anime "Sakura Quest.
Sakura Quest" is an original TV animation work by P.A.WORKS, which has produced many popular animations, and is the third "work series" following "Hanasaku Iroha" and "SHIROBAKO". It depicts the struggles of five girls, including the main character, Yuno Kiharu, who has been appointed king by chance, to rebuild a "mini-independent country," which was a movement during the bubble era but has now completely fallen into disrepair. Directed by Masui Masui of "Crayon Shin-chan Arashi wo Yobu Ora to Uchu no Princess! Ora to Uchu no Princess"), series composition by Masahiro Yokoya of "Free!", character design by BUNBUN of "Yuki Yuna wa Yuusha de Aruba", and character design by Kanami Sekiguchi, who has worked on many P.A. WORKS works.

The official report of the special event "Manoyama Summit in Differ Ariake" held at Differ Ariake on October 14 (Sat.) has just arrived, and we would like to introduce it to you.
Special Event "Mt. Manoyama Summit in Differ Ariake" Report】
The original TV animation "Sakura Quest" is the third in P.A.WORKS' "Job Series" following "Hanasaku Iroha" and "SHIROBAKO". The story centers on the main character Yuno Kiharu, who has become the king of the abandoned tourist town of Manoyama City, and the five girls who are trying their best to stay positive.
An event titled "Sakura Quest Manoyama Summit in Differ Ariake" was held on October 14 at Differ Ariake, with Ayaka Nanase playing Yuno Kiharu, Rena Ueda playing Shiori Shinomiya, Chika Anzai playing Maki Midorikawa, Chiemi Tanaka playing Ririko Oribe, and Mikako Komatsu playing Sanae Kagetsu. The event included games, an original reading play, a live performance by (K)NoW_NAME, and a variety of other activities that allowed the audience to enjoy the world of Sakura Quest.
The daytime event started with (K)NoW_NAME opening with "Blue Rose". The first corner was "Shiori Shinomiya's Dannannai", in which the five members discussed the problems and concerns sent by the townspeople (fans of the works) and the results of their discussions led Ueda-san to offer "Dannannai-san" (meaning "no problem" in the Toyama dialect) to their problems.

The questions were "What menu item was recommended by Angelica at the coffee shop 'Angelica'? and "What item did Maki give to Rinko with the new ________ she bought the other day? Tanaka who answered 3 questions correctly seemed to be the winner, but the final question was a promised 7 trillion points, and Anzai who answered the final question and one other question correctly won 7 trillion 1 points. Mr. Tanaka was awarded the title of "Permanent Honorary King of Quiz Manoyama".
In the live corner again, (K)NoW_NAME performed "Morning Glory," "thyme," "Alstroemeria (Tachibana & NIKIIE ver.)," "Lupinus," "Baby's breath," and "Freesia" with various scenes from Sakura Quest in the background. In addition, Ms. Tanaka performed "Ryu no Uta" as Rinriko.
The reading play featured an after-episode of the main story, set three months after the last episode. Sanae, Shiori, Maki, and Rinriko appeared as guests via video call in the town development corner of the radio program "Hateruno Island Tourism Association Presents, Kibirinsho RADIO" where Yuno is a personality. The five of them have a meeting to discuss the program while the first song on the radio, "Morning Glory" by (K)NoW_NAME, is playing as Sanae arrives late due to plane trouble, but Sanae, who is a web designer and town development consultant in Manoyama, and "Don't Love, Manoyama Part 2" are well received. The meeting turns out to be a debriefing session between Sanae, who is busy with her web design and town revitalization consultant project "Don't Love, Manoyama Part 2" in Manoyama; Maki, who is in Hokkaido on location for "Oden Detective Part 5"; and Rinko, who has been all over the world and is currently deep in the Amazon, and their respective post-Mano Mountain careers. The song ends without a program meeting and a corner discussing town revitalization begins....
At the end of the show, the cast members gave their impressions of the show, and the cast, audience, and chupacabra appeared to sing the "National Anthem of the Kingdom of Chupacabra," which was also featured in the play, to close the event.

I've been with the cast for about a year now, and that's 1/6 of my life as a voice actor. It was a warm, friendly, and wonderful place where the cast matched the characters perfectly. I was happy to learn about Yuno and her family's next story at the event, and I was glad to know that Yuno and her family still have a future and will continue to grow. I don't want it to end, but thank you!"
Mr. Anzai
I enjoyed the fact that we started recording about a year ago, and I felt as if I was walking with Yuno as she spun a new story at a new site with the same feelings as Yuno, who will be living for the first time in her life. There were difficulties and fun times, and I was deeply moved by the path we took. I don't think it is very often that you are faced with town development in your normal life, but I was very happy to be able to feel that as Maki."
Mr. Tanaka
I was so nervous that I was shaking the whole time, but when I went out on stage, everyone welcomed me with smiles, and that made me feel at ease and I was able to enjoy myself. Of course I was happy when I was selected to perform in Sakura Quest, but I was also worried about whether I would be able to work with my seniors who were active on the front lines, since I was a near unknown. I was worried about whether I would be able to work with senior members who were active at the forefront of their field. Everyone was kind enough to discuss things with me, and they kept telling me, "Chiemi, it's fine just the way you are," which made me think that I should just continue to grow as I am. Manoyama will continue to exist, and for me, Manoyama has become my second home. I hope you will continue to support Sakura Quest."

The time we spent together was so intense that it felt as if we had created Mt. It was a chance for the five of us to move on with our lives, and it was also a chance for Manoyama as a land. I would be very happy if Sakura Quest has been a catalyst for the people of Manoyama in their lives.

I know some of you have commented on Nico Live, and I am glad to have the opportunity to see your faces. The other day, I had the opportunity to participate in a sister city affiliation event in Toyama, and I thought it was wonderful that Sakura Quest can think and work not only in anime but also in the real world. I think it would be wonderful if we could put what we think in Sakura Quest into practice in the real world in the future. In the reading play, Yuno is working hard on her own, but I thought it was the same for me to have a second hometown to return to. I think I can work hard elsewhere and sometimes remember how hard the five of us worked together and work even harder."
