Made in Abyss" isa manga series byAkihito Tsukushi on the web comic site "Comic Gamma" (#).It is a popular work that warmly depicts the adventures of Riko, a young girl who aspires to become a great "explorer" like her mother, in the Abyss, a huge cavern that is unknown how far it extends, and Oath, a city built on the edge of the cavern. The staff of the TV anime version includes Masayuki Kojima (director: "Black Bullet"), Hideyuki Kurata (series composition: "DRIFTERS"), and character design: "Ghost in the Shell: ARISE ALTERNATIVE ARCHITECTURE" (general director and character design), and animation production is by Kinema Citrus.
