Akiba Research Institute's 15th Anniversary Grand Thanks Festival" will be held on Saturday, November 25! Special stage with Haruko Momoi, Hiroyuki Deguchi, Hiromi Samejima and other splendid guests!

Akiba Research Institute, which celebrated its 15th anniversary this year, will hold its first real event.

The event is titled "Akiba Soken's 15th Anniversary Grand Thanksgiving Festival!

On Saturday, November 25, 2017, a stage event will be held at the event space on the 10th floor of Akihabara Radio Kaikan in Tokyo, inviting people with connections to Akiba Research Institute and special guests.

The event is completely free of charge! Whether you just want to take a quick peek while shopping or enjoy the whole event from start to finish, we hope to see you there! We hope you will come and have fun.

Featuring: Hiroyuki Deguchi (Mono Bright) Hiromi Sameshima (BAN BAN BAN)

Hiroyuki Deguchi, bassist of the rock band Mono Bright, and also active as an ani-song and special effects DJ, will slay the ani-songs of 2017 with Hiromi Samejima of the comedy duo BAN BAN BAN, also active as an ani-song DJ!　In addition, Monobrite, who worked on anime songs for "Gintama" and "Bonobono," will also talk about how he created anime songs. ......?　This stage is sure to be a must-see for anime song fans!

The most interesting works in "Akiba Research Institute's" opinion, selected from TV anime broadcasted during the year from the fall cool of 2016 to the summer cool of 2017, will be decided. On the day, Keisuke Hirota, an anime writer active in "Akiba Research Institute" and Tsuyoshi Kamata, editor-in-chief of "Akiba Research Institute," will engage in a great anime discussion!　Witness the historical moment!

Since its establishment in 2002, "Akiba Research Institute" has been following the latest information on Akihabara. In this issue, we look back on the transformation of Akihabara from a town of consumer electronics to a town of anime and games, and then to a town that handles otaku culture as a whole, along with articles from Akiba Research Institute. What will happen to our sacred place, Akihabara, in the future...?　You may be able to find out!
