GODZILLA: Planet of the Monsters" collaborates with Odakyu Electric Railway! Free pass to visit the movie's stage, limited menu and red seal book will be on sale.

Odakyu Electric Railway has decided to collaborate with the animated film "GODZILLA: Planet of the Monsters," which will be released on November 17, 2017 (Friday).

GODZILLA Planet of the Monsters" is the first animated film in the "Godzilla" series, a special effects monster movie released in 1954. The director is Kobun Shizuno, who has worked on many theatrical versions of the "Detective Conan" series, including the latest in the series, "Detective Conan: Karakurenoraburetaa". The film is directed by Hiroyuki Seshimo, who was the general director of the TV anime "Knights of Sidonia: The Battle of the Ninth Planet" and the film and TV version of the anime "Ajin". The story is drafted and written by Gen Urobuchi (Nitroplus), the creator of the TV anime "Fate/Zero", "PSYCHO-PASS: Psycho-Pass" series, and "Puella Magi Madoka Magica".

It has been revealed that the film is set in the Tanzawa area of old Japan, and a collaboration between "GODZILLA: Planet of the Monsters" and the "Tanzawa-Oyama Free Pass," which is sold by Odakyu Electric Railway and allows visitors to tour the film's locations, has been decided!　The "GODZILLA Attack Campaign" will be held in the Tanzawa and Daisen area from November 1 (Wed) to December 10 (Sun).

The campaign is a tour of the current Daisen area, which will be used as a stage for the movie, with events related to Godzilla. The limited menu includes an original curry that looks like Godzilla's dorsal fin and "Godzilla Manju" branded with Godzilla. In addition, a 3-meter-tall Godzilla target will be set up at Daisenji Temple as a target for "Kawarake-throwing," which is said to ward off bad luck, and at Daisen Aburi Shrine, an "original Godzilla red seal book" and a giant Godzilla animation will be projected on the stairs of the shrine.

In addition, Kana Hanazawa, who plays the role of Yuko Tani, will make announcements on the "Daisen Cable Car" and the "Metro Momiji-go" temporary limited express Romance Car. Why not enjoy the Godzilla event while strolling in the autumn colors of Daisen?
