The OVA "Escacron," created by Seiji Mizushima and other splendid staff, will be distributed on AbemaTV and dTV.

The heartwarming story follows two girls, Esca and Kron, who come from a monochrome apocalyptic world where nothing exists, and through their exposure to music and scenery in the real world, they connect with various people and bring about change. This work originally started as a web-based music project, but the anime project was launched after a reading performance at the "D-World" vol. 0 event held on July 10, 2016, which was well received. The general director is Seiji Mizushima of "Mobile Suit Gundam 00," "Fullmetal Alchemist," and "UN-GO," the script is by Tatsuya Takahashi of "THE IDOLM@STER/CINDERELLA GIRLS," the character draft is by Toru Minazuki of "To Heart," the character design is by Aikatsu! Animation Director and Design Works, Satomi Watanabe. Animation production will be handled by LARUKE.

The two girls who play the main characters are played by Toru Mizunazuki of "Kuzu no Honkai" (who played Hanabi Anrakuoka) and Rei Kosaka of "Hibike! Euphonium" (played by Rena Kosaka) and "Macross △" (played by Kaname Buccaneer), and Kiyo Anno of "Saerenai Kano no Kano" (played by Megumi Kato). These two actresses, who have appeared in a number of high-profile productions, have been working with Director Mizushima since "UN-GO" aired in Fuji Television's Noitamina slot.

The original animation project "ESCACRON," created by Seiji Mizushima and the other members of the splendid staff, which until now could only be seen at limited screenings, will be distributed on AbemaTV and dTV!　On AbemaTV, distribution will begin at 19:00 on November 3 (Friday), and on dTV, distribution will begin sequentially in December.
