The red carpet held just before the screening attracted a large number of media from Europe and around the world, as well as many fans who brought their own goods and cosplayed, creating a very welcoming mood. When Go Nagai appeared on the red carpet, the eagerly awaiting fans sang the theme song in Japanese. Nagai smiled and enjoyed interacting with the fans as he signed autographs and offered various goods and posters to them.

On the red carpet, a giant Mazinger Z, the model for the movie, was on hand to introduce the live-action film based on Nagai's original story "Steel Jeeg," which was nominated for 16 Academy Awards and won 7 at the "David di Donatello" Italian Academy Awards. Director Gabriele Mainetti and Roberto Recchioni, author of the popular Italian manga "Dylan Dog," were also on hand for a photo session with Nagai.

The world premiere was held at the Auditorium Parco de la Musica, a music complex in Rome designed by Renzo Piano, a world-renowned Italian architect. The venue was packed with approximately 700 people for the screening, which was the world's fastest screening ahead of Japan. The audience ranged from male fans in their 30s and 40s, who seemed to be fans of the TV anime and the original manga translated into Italian, to small children accompanied by their parents, many of whom were parents and their children.

Go Nagai, together with the gathered fans, watched the world's fastest screening in Rome, Italy. During the screening, the audience cheered after each battle scene and laughed throughout the film. When the end roll of the film was over, the entire venue was filled with enthusiastic cheers and standing ovations, and fans rushed to Nagai in the audience. Nagai seemed very happy to receive the joy of the Italian fans.
