Dies irae" is a "bizarre battle adventure game" created by PC game maker light. In 2015, a crowdfunding campaign was launched to support the anime project. The amount of support exceeded 90 million yen in two months and became a big topic of conversation.

Synopsis.


Episode 4 "The Spider"
The current lotus is too busy suppressing his impulses to fully control them.
Hotaru, unable to bear the sight of him, gives him some pointers. In the process, he learns various facts about the Black Round Table of the Thirteen Knights of the Holy Spear, Carl Craft, and various magical ranks. Although unwillingly, with Hotaru's help, Ren is getting a solid grasp of what is going on.
However, his relief is short-lived when someone kidnaps Kajun.
Ren forgets himself in the face of one of the Black Round Table members who appears as an enemy and attacks.
The difference in strength between the two is too great for Ren to overcome...
