The first volume of the Blu-ray & DVD (released on December 22, 2017) of the second season of the currently broadcast TV anime "Osomatsu-san" has revealed its jacket photo and the contents of the bonus videos that will be included in the first four volumes. In addition, a new short episode directed by Yoichi Fujita and written by Shu Matsubara will be included. It was also announced that the second TV anime season will start airing in January 2018.

Osomatsu-san" is an original anime created to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the late Fujio Akatsuka's birth. Based on Fujio Akatsuka's explosive hit gag manga "Osomatsu-kun" published in Weekly Shōnen Sunday in 1962, "Osomatsu-san" depicts a future where the six children have grown up. It became a popular title thanks to its aggressive gags and parodies, the portrayal of the six children's various personalities, and the use of popular male voice actors. Even after the broadcast ended, the popularity of the series continued to grow, with major collaborations with convenience stores and JRA, game applications, stage adaptations, and a variety of other developments, and the long-awaited second season began airing in October 2017.

The second season of the TV anime "Osomatsu-san" is now available on Blu-ray and DVD.
Volume 1 will include the episode "Announcement!" from the "Osomatsu-san Spring National Great Senbatsu Screening Festival" that was shown in theaters nationwide in April 2017, which unveiled the announcement of the second TV anime season. and the event held on Friday, October 6 to commemorate the second season's broadcast, "It's the six children! All together! Totoko is the best!", the making of the shooting of the live-action version of Todomatsu, which became a hot topic in the first episode, and the PV of the second season of "Osomatsu-san" are included.
Volume 2 includes a new short episode (1) by director Yoichi Fujita and screenwriter Shu Matsubara, and Volume 3 includes "Announcement! and "Sento Quiz 2," which was shown at the Senbatsu Screening Festival as well, and Volume 4 will contain a new short episode (2).
In addition to the episodes that could only be seen in movie theaters, we can look forward to special new original short episodes by the six children that can only be seen on Blu-ray & DVD.
The first editions of the first and second volumes will also include priority tickets to the daytime and nighttime events where the cast will appear on stage together.
