The anime portal "Anipota" operated by Akiba Research Institute is currently holding the official voting project "2017 Autumn Anime Leading Voice Actor Popularity Poll [Male]".

The fall anime season is about to turn around!　This project started last week to determine the best male voice actor of the season, and here are the top 10 as of 18:30 on November 14 (Tue.), one week after the start of the voting.

Hiroshi Kamiya and Sadayuki Matsuoka have been battling it out for the top spot in this year's voting since the start of the voting. Although Mr. Kamiya is currently ahead of Matsuoka by one vote, there is no room for complacency. Takahiro Sakurai, who is in third place, is also within about 100 votes of Matsuoka, and an upset is possible. All eyes are on Kamiya-san to see if he will be able to hold on, or if Matsuoka-san or Sakurai-san will be able to pull off a comeback.

Starting in fourth place are Daisuke Ono, Tatsuo Suzuki, Yuichi Nakamura, Tomoaki Maeno, Tomokazu Sugita, Mamoru Miyano, and Hiroaki Hirata, all voice actors active on the front lines. All of them are competing with each other by several dozen votes, and it is quite possible that there will be major fluctuations in the rankings in the future.

Also of note in this year's voting are the voice actors who play the six children in "Osomatsu-san. The work has been attracting a lot of attention for the fact that many popular voice actors co-star in it, and four of the six voice actors are ranked in the top 10 at this time. It will be interesting to see if all six children will make it into the top 10.
