Darling in the Frankis" unveils its main visual, newly drawn by Masaga Tanaka & Shigeto Koyama!

The main visual from the TV anime "Darling in the Frankis," which will start airing in January 2018, has been revealed.

Darling in the Frankis" is an original anime jointly produced by TRIGGER, an animation studio that produces popular works such as "Kill la Kill" and "Little Witch Academia," and A-1 Pictures, which produces "THE iDOLM@STER" and "Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai. and "Anohi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai". The director is Atsushi Nishikori, who worked on "THE iDOLM@STER" and "GURREN LAGANN," and the character design and chief animation director is Atsushi Nishikori, who worked on "YOUR NAME. The main visual, newly drawn by Masaga Tanaka, character designer and chief animation director, and Shigeto Koyama, mechanical designer, depicts 10 children, including the two main characters Hiro and Zero Two, and Franks "Strelitzia".

The story of the game has also been unveiled.

[Story.
They dream.
They dream of flying into the sky someday.
Even though they know how far away that sky is, blocked by glass.
In the distant future.
Humanity has built a mobile fortress city called "Plantation" on a devastated land and is enjoying civilization.
Within the plantation, a pilot residential facility called "Mistletine," or "Birdcage," is built.
The children live there.
They do not know the outside world.
They do not know the free sky.
The only mission they are taught is to fight.
The enemy is the "Shouting Dragon," a giant life form that is shrouded in mystery.
In order to confront this unseen enemy, the children drive a robot called "Franks".
They believe that by riding the robot, they can prove their existence.
There once was a boy who was called a child prodigy.
His code number is 016, and his name is Hiro.
But now he is a dropout.
He is not needed.
If he couldn't ride the Franks, he was as good as gone.
One day, a mysterious girl called Zero Two appears in front of Hiro.
From her forehead, two glossy horns sprouted.
I found you, my darling.
