THE IDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE! MS02 & 03 launch event report! Cast members including Machico, Ayaka Suwa, and Yuri Komagata sang solo songs!

The smartphone game app "THE iDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE! THEATER DAYS" is also being distributed by "THE iDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE! The IDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE! The CD series "THE IDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE! M@STER SPARKLE 02" and "M@STER SPARKLE 03" were released on November 12 (Sun.), 2017.

The six performers were Machico (playing Tsubasa Ibuki), Yusa Kari (playing Kaori Sakuramori), Yukei Saito (playing Subaru Nagayoshi), Ayaka Suwa (playing Matsuri Tokugawa), Eri Ozeki (playing Minako Satake) and Yuri Komagata (playing Sayoko Takayama). The following is a report from the second session of the event, which was filled with talk about the recorded songs, a variety corner, and a spectacular live performance.

Talk corner with a series of behind-the-scenes stories about the recording

When the time came, the six members appeared on stage with smiles on their faces. When Machico-san was about to greet the audience, he suddenly bit his tongue because he had fallen asleep between the first and second sessions (according to him). The event started off in a friendly atmosphere, with Suwa-san feeling the same way, and Komagata-san being teased about his nickname, "Komagata Beyblade Yuri Senpai (long).

First was the talk corner. Ms. Komagata and Mr. Ozeki acted as MCs, and in the second stage, they talked about behind-the-scenes stories behind the recording of solo songs by Sayoko Takayama, Tsubasa Ibuki, and Kaori Sakuramori.

Sayoko's solo song "Only One Second" was finally chosen by Ms. Komagata herself from two candidates. She thought it was "easier for Sayoko's emotions to come through," and she recalls that she put her heart and soul into the recording to the point of losing consciousness. She also said that she was particularly fond of the phrase "I don't want to spend time lying on my face" and the impact of "Only One" at the beginning of the song that brings the listener's attention to the song.

Machico revealed that he raised the key of Tsubasa's "Rocket Star☆" by 1.5 notes from the demo stage. In fact, she has raised the key of her previous solo songs as well, and it seems that she is emphasizing the "Tsubasa-ness" of the song. In addition, as the lyrics of the song "Tsubasa = me! he said enthusiastically, hoping that everyone would call him "Tsubasa" and work with him to create the song.

Kari said she could not stop crying when she heard "Hummingbird" for the first time late at night. Not only does this song depict the emotions of the songwriter, but Kari herself also felt a great deal of sympathy for the song. The first recording session in her life was scheduled for the first day of practice and the second day for the actual performance. However, the first take from the beginning of the song to the A-melody was adopted, and she said that it may have expressed the sense of excitement she was feeling as she was about to take her next step.

An unexpected appearance outside the theater was revealed!

Next up was the "Million Live." section, in which the audience ad-libbed the idols' lines according to the situations (where, who, what) they drew from the box! Out of Theater Days" corner. Although the program was originally supposed to be a one-liner only, the audience was entertained by a small play involving the other performers.

The first subject was "Subaru Nagayoshi being chased by a ferocious beast at a fancy restaurant. The chased Subaru shouted, "Kurae! and with a single blow, he hit Machico, who played the role of the beast, with a home run!　Perhaps embarrassed by the mysterious sudden turn of events, Mr. Saito wanted to erase everyone's memories. Then a cool-headed Ozeki-san said one word: "What about ...... restaurant?" .......

The subject was "Minako Satake, sleepwalking on a southern island at a resort. Minako sleepwalked and said, "Oh, there's delicious fried rice floating around. It's a resort indeed. ......" When she delivered a line that summed it up nicely, the other members booed for some reason, saying, "This is not the corner for this! The other members booed, "This is not the corner for this! Moreover, they placed their hopes on the last performer, Mr. Suwa, to go in a different direction, saying, "The next person will show us a million.

The theme for Mr. Suwa, who had received all the expectations, was "While working part-time on the moon. The audience was then treated to a performance of rice cake pounding with Ozeki-san, who played the role of the rabbit. The resulting rice cakes were air-dropped to the audience as a "Super Miracle Tokugawa Matsuri Special! Idols express their feelings with solo songs

The second half of the event was a live performance to refresh the mood. Machico, who declared that he would rewrite everyone's memories, cheerfully performed "Rocket Star☆. As Machico said that the song brought her back to her original mind, she was exactly like a winged wing as she bounced on the high notes. The "electric stick" made the yellow-tinted venue smile. She was especially happy when she sang "Tsubasa = me! She was especially happy when she said "Tsubasa = me!" and struck a pose that idols in the game would strike.

Ms. Suwa raised the tension of the audience even more with "Princess a la mode. The lyrics were full of Princess Matsuri-ness, and she showed various expressions as the rhythm changed. She said she was worried about whether she could sing the song properly, but she was enjoying the stage to the fullest as everyone cheered and shouted for her.

Ms. Saito appeared on stage as if she were stepping into the batter's box. Let's go," she said in response to the call of "Kakkoso! Subaru", she took a powerful full swing and performed "HOME RUN SONG♪". She sang this song, in which she expressed her gratitude to everyone, in a powerful and cute way that was full of Subaru's personality.

The rhythmical and high-tempo stage performance was "Manpuku Sikkyoku Furu Kowosu" by Ozeki-san. Her performance was fun and inspired by kenpo and cooking, and she conveyed her wish for everyone to eat a full meal. He said he wanted to grow this song even more, and we look forward to seeing how sumptuous the food (the music) will be.

Mr. Komagata made us realize exactly what he said in the talk corner. Sayoko's determination in the opening "Only" had a dignity that could only come from a live performance, and the strength of her feelings was clearly conveyed in her sharply focused eyes and every word she sang. The smile that flashed after the interlude was also impressive, and the audience cheered loudly when she finished singing.

Kari appeared on stage to a beautiful piano prelude, and her elegant choreography made the audience sing "Hummingbird" to the accompaniment of the piano. Each lyric was filled with gratitude to the producer, and her smile, one of her great charms, shone the brightest. Her beautifully piercing long tones also had a great impact.

The last song was "Brand New Theater!" performed by all the members, which brought the cheers to a climax. After the song, they closed the event by waving to the audience as they moved around the stage and thanked everyone for their support.
