On Saturday, November 25, 2017, Akiba Research Institute, which celebrated the 15th anniversary of its website this year, will hold the "Akiba Research Institute 15th Anniversary Grand Thanksgiving Festival" at Radio Kaikan in Akihabara. A Twitter survey regarding the contents of the event is currently being conducted.


The "Akiba Research Institute 15th Anniversary Grand Thanks Festival," which will finally be held this Saturday, will include an anison talk by current anison & special effects DJs, the announcement of the "Akiba Research Institute Anime Awards 2017" results, a talk show looking back on Akihabara's 15 years, an acoustic live performance by Haruko Momoi, and much more! From 4:00 p.m. on the day of the event, a talk show will be held to look back on Akiba's 15 years with articles from the Akiba Research Institute. Haruko Momoi, a singer and voice actress, Daichi Nakagawa, a critic and editor with a deep knowledge of subcultures and urban theory, and Tsuyoshi Kamata, editor-in-chief of Akiba Research Institute, will engage in a rich Akiba talk show!
