Welcome to the Ballroom" is a TV anime based on the manga series by Tomo Takeuchi, serialized in "Monthly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha). It is an "authentic dance anime" about an ordinary junior high school student, Tatara Fujita, who doesn't know what to do, but one day he discovers ballroom dancing and begins to develop his talent for it. Directed by Masanori Itazu, series composition and script by Kenichi Suemitsu, character design by Takahiro Kishida, music by Yuki Hayashi, and animation production by Production I.G.

Tadara receives advice, or rather stretches, from Hyodo. By increasing the range of motion of her body, she should be able to compete with Kugimiya's size...but Tadara cannot control her body, which moves too much. While both Akira and Shizuku, staring at the floor, noticed the change in Tadara's lead and felt dissatisfied and uneasy, Hyodo focused on Chinatsu's learning speed as she tried to keep up with Tadara's changes.
