Sequel production of "Made in Abyss" is decided! Sequel production decision PV is also released.

A sequel to the TV anime "Made in Abyss" is now in production.

Made in Abyss" is a manga by Akihito Tsukushi, serialized on the web comic site "Comic Gamma" ( # ). It is a popular work that warmly depicts the adventures of Riko, a young girl who aspires to become a great "explorer" like her mother, set in the Abyss, a huge cavern that is unknown how far it extends, and Oath, a city built on the edge of the cavern. The staff of the TV anime version includes Masayuki Kojima (director: "Black Bullet"), Hideyuki Kurata (series composition: "DRIFTERS"), and character design: "Ghost in the Shell: ARISE ALTERNATIVE ARCHITECTURE" (general director and character design), and animation production by Kinema Citrus.

The decision to produce a sequel to "Made in Abyss" was announced at the "Deep in Abyss Storytelling" event held on November 26 (Sun.)!　In addition, the "Sequel Production Decision PV" was released.

In the PV, Maaya Sakamoto, who plays Liza, Riko's mother, narrates the memorable scenes from the first season, and the newly recorded voice of Tomoyuki Morikawa's character, Bondrudo, ends the PV with the words, "Let's meet again, by all means.
