The TV anime "Rio no Oshigoto!", which will start airing in January 2018 has been decided as the OP theme of Machico's new single "Korekara".

Rio no Oshigoto! (illustrated by Shirabi, published by GA Bunko) is a popular light novel set in the world of Shogi with the full cooperation of the Shogi Federation. The series has sold over 500,000 copies (as of June 2017) and has won numerous awards, including first place in the "This Light Novel is Amazing!

The OP theme of this work will be Machico's 5th single "Korekara" (released on January 31, 2018)!　The song, an exhilarating up-tune, was unveiled on Nippon Columbia's website as well as on the Nico Nico Live broadcast "Ruyo no Oshigoto! Nico Nico Kenkyukai" on November 28.

In addition, events commemorating the release of "Korekara" will be held in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka, as well as in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka!　In addition to Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka, the event will also be held in Machico's hometown of Hiroshima, so fans are encouraged to attend the event.
