ULTRAMAN" is a manga series by Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi, the creators of "Line Barrel of Iron" and other works, serialized in "Heroes" monthly magazine. It is a popular work that has sold more than 2.6 million copies in total.
It depicts Ultraman as a "life-size hero," with Shinjiro Hayata, son of Hayata Shin, who was the first Ultraman, fighting in the Ultraman suit.

Director Kenji Kamiyama
Together with Director Aramaki, I am taking on the challenge of creating a 3DCG animation of "ULTRAMAN".
I have experience in 3D animation production, but this is the first time for me to use motion capture.
The methodologies of direction and picture creation are different from those of hand-drawn and drawn animation production, but I am confident that the new challenges will be stimulating and lead to interesting ideas for the production of the film.

Kenji Kamiyama was born in Saitama, Japan on March 20, 1966.
After joining Studio Fuuga in 1985, he started his career as an art and background staff.
After working on "JIN-ROH" and "BLOOD THE LAST VAMPIRE", he made his directorial debut with "MINIPATO". Later, he directed and composed the series for the TV animation series "Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C.," which was a big hit. He directed his first full 3DCG theatrical film "009 RE: CYBORG".
