Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion I: Kodo", BD & DVD will be released on February 23, 2018!

The Blu-ray and DVD release of the anime film "Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion I: Kodo" has been decided.

Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion" is a TV animation series that aired its first season in 2006 and its second season "R2" in 2008. Set in Japan, which has become a territory of the Britannian Empire, the work depicts Lelouch, a Britannian who has acquired the power of absolute compliance, putting on a mask named Zero and leading a resistance force against Britannia: Takahiro Kimura), which made it popular among both men and women.

At the "Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion: Kiseki's Anniversary" event held on November 27, 2016 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the start of the series, the production of a theater version trilogy, reconstructed from all 50 episodes of the TV series with new parts and all newly dubbed, was announced. The Blu-ray and DVD of "Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion I: Kodo" will be released on February 23, 2018 (Friday)!　The Blu-ray <Special Limited Edition> will include a bonus disc with a visual commentary in which director Goro Taniguchi, Jun Fukuyama, and Yukana discuss scenes and behind-the-scenes production details while watching "I Kodo", a special booklet (52 pages), and the case, The case is a luxurious three-sided case with a new illustration by Takahiro Kimura, character designer.

The Blu-ray <Special Limited Edition> of Part 3 "III: The Emperor's Way" will also include a box containing all the volumes of the book, which was newly illustrated by CLAMP, the original character designer.
