2018 Winter Anime

A report from the advance screening of episodes 1 and 2 held at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku on December 10 (Sun.) has just arrived and we are pleased to present it to you.

Official Report

An advance screening of episodes 1 and 2 of the anime "YuruCan△," which will be broadcast from January 4 (Thu.), was held at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku on December 10 (Sun.).
The talk show was held after the screening of the main story, with Yumiri Hanamori playing Nadeshiko Kagamihara, Nao Higashiyama playing Rin Shima, Sayuri Hara playing Chiaki Ogaki, and Riie Takahashi playing Ena Saito. Rie Takahashi, who plays Ena Saito, took the stage.

Ms. Hanamori wore her hair tied in two knots, Ms. Higashiyama wore her hair in a bun, Ms. Hara wore glasses, and Ms. Takahashi wore a brown fluffy cardigan inspired by Chikuwa, Ena's pet dog.

When asked about her character, Hanamori said, "When I play Nadeshiko-chan, I try to create a natural cuteness," to which Higashiyama replied, "It's cute, like my niece running around! Higashiyama said, "She's so cute, it's like my niece running around!" He smiled and introduced his character, Lynn, as a "solo camper who enjoys camping quietly and peacefully. Ms. Hara followed by saying, "Chiaki is a high tension girl. I'm allowed to play her as I like (laugh)," and Ms. Higashiyama said, "Ms. Hara herself is a mood maker for everyone," to which Mr. Takahashi, on Mr. Higashiyama's prodding, replied, "That's Mr. Saito! and Takahashi imitated a certain comedian by fluttering his cardigan.
As for Aoi Inuyama, played by Aki Toyosaki, Mr. Hara said, "Aoi has a lot of variations in her comedy and humor. Please enjoy her as a set with Chiaki. He also happily discussed the appeal of the narration by Akio Otsuka.

The four, who have not had much camping experience in their private lives, were told by Mr. Toyosaki, who is an outdoorsman and has plenty of camping experience, that he has heard stories about camping, and there was a lively "Shall we make the launch a camping trip? They were also excited to hear from Ms. Toyosaki, who is an outdoorsy person and has a lot of camping experience.

Special guests Asaka Asaka, who sings the opening theme song "Shiny Days," and Eri Sasaki, who sings the ending theme song "Fuyubiyori," also took the stage.
Asaka sang with a soulful voice, "I want to convey the thrill and excitement of the journey to the camp and the preparation for the camp," while Sasaki sang with a clear voice, "I wrote the lyrics and music based on my imagination of the fun, loose and peaceful scenery of the camp. Ms. Hanamori, Ms. Higashiyama, Ms. Hara, and Ms. Takahashi, who heard the two sing live, seemed moved.

In closing, Mr. Hanamori said, "I hope that many people will enjoy the beautiful atmosphere created by the combination of beautiful pictures, colorful music, and the characters' voices. I hope many people will enjoy the beautiful atmosphere created by the combination of beautiful pictures, music, and the voices of the characters! I would be very happy if, after watching all 12 episodes, you would think, "I want to go camping!
