The official voting project "2017 Autumn Anime OP Theme Popularity Poll" which had been held on Akiba Research Institute's anime portal "Anipota" since November 21, 2017, ended on December 6, and the results of this project with a total of 26430 votes cast will be announced.

This year's voting, which ultimately garnered more than 25,000 votes, was an unexpected turn of events. The theme song for the latest installment in the "Time Bokan " series, of which many have been produced since the first episode aired in 1975, was sung by a national idol, KinKi Kids. the latest in the "Time Bokan" series, of which many have been produced since its first broadcast in 1975, has attracted a wide range of fans from both sides.

Following in second and third place were Sanju Junior High School Yuusha Club's "Hanakotoba" (Yuki Yuna is a Brave Woman -Sumi Washio's Chapter-/- Yuusha no Sho ) and Blend-A's "Bonapeteit ♡S" (Blend-S ), which were competing for the top spot at the mid-term announcement. Just before the end of the session, there was a scene where "Bonapeteito ♡S" reversed the ranking, but then "Hanakotoba" reversed it again. The ranking remained unchanged from the interim announcement.

The following songs finished in fourth place: Yanaginagi "here and there", Panorama Panamatown "Rapture", Tito & Yuri "Move, move", Aqours "Mirai no bokuraga ni shitteiru", GARNiDELiA "iCotoba", JUNNA "Here", UNISON SQUARE Only No. 7 "Mirai no Bokuraha wa I know you" and No. 8 "iCotoba" changed their ranking, but the other songs were in the same order as in the interim announcement. All the songs received an even number of votes, and all the songs received wide-ranging support. The result showed the diversity of the songs and the depth of the anime songs of this season.
