The first film directed by Mari Okada of "Anohana" and "Kokosake" fame, "Sayonara no Morno Yakusoku no Hana wo Kazarou" has been released!

The latest information, including the story, new visuals, and trailer, has been released from the anime film "Sayonara no Asa ni Yakusoku no Hana wo Kazarou," scheduled for release on February 24, 2018 (Saturday).

Mari Okada, who will be directing the film, is the director of "Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai." Heart Begs to Scream. and popular anime such as "Dark Girl" and "Sensei! Can I fall in love with you? and live-action films such as "Dark Girls" and "Sensei! His directorial debut "Sayonara no Morno ni Yakusoku no Hana wo Kazarou" will be produced by P.A.WORKS, which has worked with Okada-san many times on "true tears" and "Hanasaku Iroha".

The film depicts the interaction between Makia, a young girl of the Iorph people whose appearance stops growing in her mid-teens and has a life span of several hundred years, and Eriale, a "lone" baby who has just lost her parents. Makia is still a young girl, and Elial has grown into a young man over time. The new visual depicts them together with the catch copy "I'm glad I love you. The catch copy of "I am glad I love you. The two, who have different lifespans but share the same time, are expected to tell a story of a bond that changes its hue.

In addition to the story, the trailer and cast information have also been released!　Makia, a difficult character who lives for hundreds of years without changing her appearance, will be played by newcomer Mainaka Ishimi, who made her debut this year. The cast includes Miyu Irino as Elial, Ai Chino, Yuki Kaji, Miyuki Sawashiro, Yoshimasa Hosoya, Rina Sato, Yoko Hikasa, Misaki Hisano, Tomokazu Sugita, and Hiroaki Hirata.

＜Story

Makia, a young Iorph girl with no parents, spends her days peacefully surrounded by her friends, but somewhere along the way she feels alone.
In an instant, their days are shattered. In search of the blood of Iorph's long life, the Mesate army, astride an ancient beast called Renato, invaded the land. In the midst of despair and confusion, Leylia, the most beautiful woman in Iorph, is taken away by the Mesate, and Krim, the boy whom Makia secretly loves, goes missing. Makia manages to escape, but she loses her friends and her place of refuge...
With an empty heart, Makia wanders through the dark forest. There he meets a baby who has just lost his parents and is all alone.
Elial grows up to be a boy. Makia remains a little girl even as time passes. In the same season, time passes differently. In the changing times, the bond between the two changes its hue.
