Yu Yu Hakusho" 25th Anniversary Blu-ray BOX to be released!　Completely new animation is also included!

A Blu-ray box set will be released to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the broadcast of the TV anime "YuYu Hakusho.

YuYu Hakusho" is an anime work based on the popular comic series by Yoshihiro Togashi serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (published by Shueisha). The main character, a delinquent boy named Urameshi Yusuke, dies in a car accident while trying to save a child. The story depicts Urameshi's efforts to protect the peace between the human world and the spirit world by defeating powerful enemies one after another along with Kuwabara, his bickering friend, and Kurama and Tobikage, whom he meets on a mission. 112 episodes were broadcast from October 1992 to January 1995, and a movie version was released in 1993 and 1994. In 1993 and 1994, the movie version was released.

The "Yu Yu Hakusho" Blu-ray box set will be released on July 27, 2018, in four volumes: "Reikai Tantei Hen," "Ankoku Bujyukai Hen," "Sensui Hen," and "Makai Hen.

The series will include the OP & ED theme songs of the past volumes, such as "Smile Bomb" and "Unbalanced Kiss Kiss wo dekite," in non-transcription format, and the box and inner jackets of each volume will be illustrated with newly-drawn illustrations. In addition, the "Reikai Tanteihen" includes the movie version of "Yu Yu Hakusho: Underworld Death Battle Arc, Bond of Fire," which was released in 1994, for the first time on Blu-ray. This film has a completely different storyline from the original work and TV anime, and the new characters were designed by the original author, Togashi Yoshihiro himself. The new box set is aptly named "Anniversary," as it has only been available on LD and VHS, making it a work that is truly a work of fantasy.

In addition, a completely new animation is included in the "Makai-hen" section. Expectations are high for what kind of episodes will be developed by the original cast.
