Official Report]

JUMP FESTA 2018 was held at Makuhari Messe on December 16 and 17. On the 17th, a stage event for "Golden Kamui," a TV anime that will start airing in April 2018, was held amidst a large crowd every day. On stage were the main cast members of the TV anime, Chikahiro Kobayashi (Saichi Sugimoto) and Haruka Shiraishi (Ashi(ri)pa), as well as the editor of the original work, Hakko Okuma. Mr. Kobayashi, in front of the large audience gathered at the venue, opened his speech by confessing his feelings about the event, saying, "I am nervous. Mr. Shiraishi, on the other hand, introduced himself by saying, "Let's put aside the joke about ...... playing Shiraishi," which drew laughter from the audience. The first stage event for this work was opened with the first words of the cast members, who were all very different from each other.

After the introduction of the speakers, the talk show began. Mr. Kobayashi, who said he was originally a fan of the original comic, was asked how he felt when he saw the PV for the first time, and commented excitedly, "I was very moved! I was so moved!" he commented excitedly. Mr. Shiraishi also commented, "The drawings are wonderful and the music was really cool, so I was thrilled to be able to add my lines to the video! I was so excited to be able to put my lines into this image! Mr. Okuma praised the enthusiasm of the staff who did not skimp on the animals or the vast nature in the film, saying, "Please look forward to the film. The highlight of the film is everything! He appealed to the audience. The audience's anticipation must have been heightened by the praise from those involved in the film.

Once the atmosphere was warmed up, the talk turned to the topic of favorite scenes from the original work. First, Mr. Kobayashi answered, "The scene where Asi(li)pa and the seal were fighting together in the door picture, but in reality Asi(li)pa was beating the seal," which drew a big laugh from the audience. Next, Shiraishi selected a scene in which Ashi(ri)pa, imagining Sugimoto's death, cries and shouts, "Don't die, Sugimoto! Sugimoto's death. She also talked about her own impression of Ashi-Li-Pa, saying, "Ashi-Li-Pa is usually very interesting, but I think she is still a girl. Even fans of the original manga will be curious to see if their favorite scenes will appear in the anime.

In the middle of the event, a message from the original author, Satoru Noda, was introduced. When asked by the staff about his choice of voice actor for the role of Sugimoto, Noda replied that he was unfamiliar with anime and asked for the most popular person to play the role. However, when he learned that Mr. Kobayashi was actually chosen because he fits Sugimoto's image perfectly, regardless of his background, he felt the seriousness of the staff and was embarrassed at his curt response. As for the role of Ashi(ri)pa, he revealed that there were four lines in the audition that included the word "poop," and after listening to dozens of poops, he felt thrown into the role. However, Noda's confidence in the cast was so strong that he concluded his message by saying, "I hope that the "Golden Kamui" anime will be a work that will add flowers to the careers of Mr. Kobayashi and Mr. Shiraishi.

The next question was a two-choice quiz about the original work, and the two answered the first question correctly, but the cloud was lifted on the third question. ...... The third question, "What is Yutake Shiraishi's alias? The options were "The King of Defecation in the Meiji Era" and "The King of Jail Breaking in the Meiji Era. The answer goes without saying, but Mr. Shiraishi, sensing Mr. Kobayashi's expectant gaze, dared to choose "The King of Defecation in Meiji Era"! Although he missed the quiz, the audience laughed and applauded at their well-matched exchange.

After the excitement of the quiz, the audience was invited to take part in the "Fixed! Today's Feast," which can be found on the official website of the original comic book. By answering the questions, the site will recommend a gourmet dish that suits your mood at that moment. They were excited to see what kind of gourmet food they would get, but to their surprise, the result was Shiraishi (Yutake) ......, who was caught in a trap. Mr. Shiraishi was quick to chide, "It wasn't you! Shiraishi immediately replied, "It's not you!

The fun time passed quickly, and at the end, Kobayashi and Shiraishi gave a message to the audience.
Thank you so much for coming today. We will make sure that fans of the original work will also enjoy the show, so please look forward to it.
