From the 20th anniversary "Mobile Battleship Nadesico" comes the "Nadesico Y Unit Type" plastic model equipped with phase-transfer cannon! Akiba Research Institute reviews the pachigumi!

So, from the anime "Mobile Battleship Nadesico" which celebrated its 20th anniversary year in 2017, the first ship of the Nadeshiko class, Nadeshiko, has been made into a kit as a Y-unit equipped model. It was released by Aquamarine for 7,800 yen (excluding tax).

To commemorate its release, Akiba Research Institute conducted a review!

The "Nadesico" Y-unit equipped type is an enhanced version of the space battleship "Nadesico," which also appears in the title. The Y-unit-equipped Nadesico is a strengthened version of the space battleship "Nadesico," which is also the title of the movie. It was completed by transferring parts of the fourth Nadeshiko-class "Shakuyaku," which was destroyed by the Ki-ren, to the "Nadesico" under the decision of its captain, Mismaru Yurika, and is the main ship in the latter half of the story!

This time, the first kit version was realized in full. Just the fact that it was made available to the public was enough to make us say, "Well done! I've been waiting for this! I would like to give a standing ovation, but I am also impressed by the amount of effort that has gone into this kit, with new settings prepared by the staff of the time, and the box art depicting the moment when the phase-transfer cannon is fired being newly drawn.

Now, here is the kit of the "Nadesico" Y-unit equipped type, which features the phase-transfer cannon, a new weapon with overwhelming destructive power.

The production time is about 3 hours. You can easily enjoy the power of the 28cm-long model.

This product is a variation kit of the previously released "Nadeshiko," the first ship of the Nadeshiko class, to which the Y-unit has been added, and is of course a snap-fit specification that does not require adhesives.

Each runner has a different molding color, so you can get almost the same coloring as in the original set just by assembling the kit!

However, some of the parts are difficult to identify, so you must assemble it while carefully reading the instruction manual.

Of course, the phase-transfer cannon deployment gimmick is also included.

Also included are the Estevaris land battle frame and air battle frame in the same scale. It will not stand on its own, so use glue to fix its standing position!

After assembling the figure, the figure can be smudged to look like this.

This kit is just the right size to build during the year-end and New Year holidays.

Incidentally, you can also choose to assemble the regular Nadesico as a compatibility kit, so you might want to get two and display them side by side!
