Chihayafuru", now in its 10th anniversary year, features a live-action movie, anime cast, and congratulatory messages from popular manga artists in "BE・LOVE" magazine.

Chihayafuru" celebrates its 10th anniversary in serialization, and it has been announced that the second issue of "BE LOVE" on sale on December 28 will feature a special opening chapter to kick off the 10th anniversary year.

The magazine has sold more than 21 million copies in print and electronic editions, won the 2nd Manga Grand Prize (2009), ranked first in the "Onna" section of "This Manga is Awesome! Chihayafuru" by Yuki Suetsugu, based on a coming-of-age manga about competitive karuta, has been adapted into a TV anime for a total of two seasons. With its beautiful visuals and passionate coming-of-age story, the series was popular not only among women but also among men. Directed by Morio Asaka, series composition by Naoya Takayama, character design by Kunihiko Hamada, and animation production by Madhouse.

Chihayafuru" celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, and the second issue of "BE・LOVE" to be released on December 28 will feature a special project to kick off the 10th anniversary year.

The second issue of "BE・LOVE" will feature an illustration drawn by Suetsugu on the front and back covers, depicting Chihaya and the other five members of the Mizusawa Karuta Club walking under the cherry blossoms in their school uniforms.

The live-action film "Chihayafuru -Knot-," the third and final installment of the series, will be released on Saturday, March 17, 2018, and will feature the director, cast, and -＞The magazine will also feature messages to Mr. Suetsugu from a total of 26 people, including Perfume, the director of the TV anime "Chihayafuru," and voice actors, who will sing the theme song for the live-action movie "Chihayafuru -Knot-.

In addition, 33 pages of newly drawn tribute illustrations celebrating the 10th anniversary by 33 members of the splendid writing team are also included. Mr. Suetsugu himself has also added his own message of appreciation to the many congratulatory illustrations and messages, along with newly drawn illustrations.
