Utena: The 20th Anniversary Exhibition of TV Animation Broadcast" will be held in Osaka! About 450 items that form the backbone of the world will be exhibited all at once!

The "Utena Revolutionary Girl TV Anime 20th Anniversary Exhibition - Memories of Roses and Revolution, Absolute Destiny Revelation," which was held at Tobu Department Store Ikebukuro in November 2017 and received a favorable reception, will be held in Osaka.

Utena, Revolutionary Girl" is a TV animation series that was broadcast from April to December 1997. The original work is by Bee Papas, a group of authors led by director Kunihiko Ikuhara. In conjunction with the start of the anime broadcast, Saito Uchiho, a member of Bee Papas, serialized the comic in "Chao" (Shogakukan), creating a two-part comic and anime series. The surrealistic visuals depicting friendship, brotherhood, and homosexuality...and the way those with insurmountable barriers fight to change the world struck a chord with viewers and left a rare presence in the anime world.

This time, from March 21 (Wed., holiday) to April 2 (Mon.), 2018, "Utena Revolutionary Girl TV Anime Broadcast 20th Anniversary Exhibition - Memories of Roses and Revolution, Absolute Destiny Revelation" will be held at Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store!

At this event, approximately 450 items will be exhibited at once, including authentic "original drawings" and "celluloid pictures" that form the framework of the world, as well as "character and stage art setting drawings and many materials from the drafting stage," which have been repeatedly tried and tested and consolidated into one ideal form. In addition, there will be an area that recreates the impressive stages of the film, such as the "Penitentiary of the Nemuro Memorial Hall," the "Special Seat of the Red Car," and the "Duel Plaza.

In addition to general admission tickets, tickets with a limited number of goods are also available. Purchasers of limited-quantity tickets with goods will receive a "Animate Voice Cassette" "Utena the Girl Revolution Utena: Hou Gakuen Student Council Arc" reprint CD released by Movic in December 1997, and a set of two acrylic key chains of Utena & Anthy.

In addition, both general admission tickets and admission tickets with a limited number of goods will be presented with a "Corsage of White Roses Revolutionizing the World" as a bonus with advance tickets. The "Corsage of White Roses" will also be given to day-of-performance ticket buyers on a first-come, first-served basis.
