Violet Evergarden" won first place in this year's voting. It had already gained a lot of support at the time of the interim announcement, but it continued to gain momentum and remained in the top position until the very end. The main point of interest was the superbly high quality of the drawings. Kyoto Animation is always talked about for the high quality of its animation, and this work has been called the best of all time, and the number of votes reflects the anticipation of anime fans who wanted to see the full story as soon as possible.

The dead heat between "Mitsuboshi Colors" and"Karakajite no Takagi-san" continued, but in the end, "Mitsuboshi Colors" came in second place. At first glance, this work has a heartwarming look reminiscent of an everyday series, but its story is about three girls struggling to protect their town. It will be interesting to see how the girls will fare.

The third-place finisher, "Karakajuite no Takagi-san" (Mr. Takagi, the Karakajuite), was only 15 votes behind the winner, and is a coming-of-age story that depicts an ordinary day in the life of a young girl. It was also the talk of the town that the director had prayed at the "Takagi Shrine" for a big hit.

In fourth and fifth place were "Saiki Kusuo no Ψ難(Ψ難)" (2nd season) and"Overlord II," the latest installments in the popular series. The popularity of the previous series has not waned, and as one would expect, it was the top-ranked entry.

While the rankings for the sixth place and below were almost the same as in the interim announcement, "Resurrection of the Seven Deadly Sins" rose from eighth to seventh place, following the first season broadcast in 2014 and the TV special broadcast in 2016. The result shows the growing expectations of the fans.

The number of votes for each of the titles below 11th place was also very close, indicating that the expectations for each of the titles were evenly distributed.
