The TV anime "A Place Farther Than the Sky" has released an advance cut and synopsis of its second episode.

Farther Than the Universe" is an original TV animation that depicts the adolescence of four girls who continue their journey to the South Pole, which is "farther than the universe," about 14,000 km away from Japan. Directed by Atsuko Ishizuka, series composition and script by Juki Hanada, and animation production by MADHOUSE, this is a highly anticipated new work by the "No Game, No Life" animation team, who have teamed up again.

An Antarctic observation ship leaves Japan for the South Pole via Fremantle, Australia. Kimari is told by Hose that she will need money for the flight from Japan to Fremantle because the observation team will board the ship from Fremantle, so she starts working part-time at a convenience store. Miyake Hinata, a senior at the part-time job who wants to go to the Antarctic with her, joins the group, and Kimari and the others carry out a certain mission planned by Hose.

＜STORY
A place farther away than the universe. Kimari, a.k.a. Kimari is moved by Hose's refusal to give up, even when told that there is no way a high school student can go to the South Pole, and she vows to go with Hose to the South Pole. ......
