The winter anime "Sequel to 'Touken Ranbu - Hanamaru-'", currently airing on TOKYO MX and other stations, has announced the new swordsmen who will appear in the second episode, and their cast comments have been released.

The second season of the TV anime "Sequel to 'Touken Ranbu Hanamaru-'" is currently airing on TOKYO MX and other stations.

This time, a character visual of a new swordsmith, Juzumaru Tsunetsugu, who will appear in the second episode airing on January 14 (Sun.), has been revealed. Comments from Hikaru Midorikawa, who plays the character, have also arrived, and will be introduced along with the synopsis of the second episode.

In addition, Blu-ray & DVD No.1 will be released on March 14 (Wed.).
The first Blu-ray and DVD will include a ticket for the special event to be held at Makuhari Messe in June (daytime session), a 20-page special booklet, a special Hanamaru karuta (for the first episode), a large postcard with a newly-drawn digipak illustration, and many other special features that you should not miss.

In addition, "Sequel to 'Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru'" will feature different ending themes for each episode, sung by each of the sword fighters, just as in the previous episode. Furthermore, the guest vocalist for the opening theme changes every week this time. The "Uta Eishu" Part II, which contains the OP and ED of each episode, will be released on January 17 (Wed.)!　The songs are sung by Soma Saito (CV: Catfish Shiro), Hiroto Suzuki (CV: Kogui Toshiro), Atsushi Tamaru (CV: Isshin Isshin) and others. The OP and ED themes will also be featured along with the main story.

Sujumaru Tsuneji (CV: Midorikawa Hikaru)
One of the Five Swords of Heaven, this sword is said to have been made by Aoe Tsunetsugu.
It is said that Nichiren, a monk in the Kamakura period (1185-1333), used to carry this sword for self-defense, and its name is derived from the beads wrapped around its handle.
