In this issue, we asked the members to talk about "LLTW☆," an album that is the culmination of their efforts to bridge the gap between anime songs and idols, and an album that will lead to their next dream.

LLTW☆" is their first and best album!

─ What kind of album is "LLTW☆" for Luce?

Saori Itayama (Itayama): It is the first album for Luce and the long-awaited album for the members.

Saki Fukazawa (Saki Fukazawa): I couldn't imagine in the past that I could sing so many songs and have so many people listen to them as an album.

Kaho Higaki (Higaki): This album is filled with representative songs from our indie days to our major label debut, and is Luce's calling card.

Megumi Nishikori (Nishikori): If you listen to this album, you will realize that Luce has a wide range of songs. There are cute, cool, and many other kinds of luce in this album!

Yukino Usami (Usami): The members talk about this album as the first and best album. It contains songs that have never been recorded before and is the best of Luce as it is now! This is the best Luce album yet!

It is the best of Luce !

───First of all, please tell us about the new song "Twinkle "5" stars! Please tell us about the new song "Twinkle "5" stars!

Fukazawa: Maon Kurosaki wrote the lyrics after reading our blogs and Twitter feeds, and I was happy to find many lyrics that are uniquely Luce. For example, "Unexplored Scenery".

Usami: There is a phrase "unexplored stage" in the lyrics of "Setsuna Halation," which is a phrase we often use.

Nishikiori: The song was written and arranged by Kai Kawasaki and has a very speedy feel to it, and the words of the lyrics just flowed right into me. It was as if I had been singing this song for a long time.

Higaki: It has the image of a song with a core. I wanted to express a different kind of coolness, so I tried to use vibrato during the recording, which I usually don't do. I was surprised that everyone sang the same way.

Usami: The high notes of the words "decorate" and "shine" at the end of the chorus are very pleasant, so please look forward to seeing how the five of us will sound together in a live performance.

─ ─ And "LLTW☆" also includes a song that you have been singing since your indie days.

Usami: "Setsuna Halation," "You are a star," and "Luce Luce Twinkle Wink☆" were all re-recorded. So I think it's very fresh for the old fans. It is fresh for us, too (laughs).

─ How did you feel when you sang the song again?

Usami: I could feel how much we have grown. At the time, we didn't know how to sing the song, and it was a trial-and-error process to figure out how to put emotion into the song, so I think the hesitation and the initial feeling of the song is a good thing about the original recording.

Higaki: Perhaps it is because we were able to experience various things, and we became more positive with the goal of aiming higher, but I think everyone's voices are brighter on the current soundtrack.

Fukazawa: I didn't know where to breathe on "Setsuna Halation," but now I can sing it smoothly. Have I grown a little?

Nishikori I guess I was nervous because I didn't have much recording experience at that time.

Itayama: When I recorded "Setsuna Halation" a long time ago, I couldn't sing it at all and cried. So this time I wanted to show that I had matured, and I think I was able to sing properly this time. I was able to establish my own way of singing.

Usami: "Luce Luce Twinkle Wink☆" is a song with a very low register, and I was struggling with it at the time, but I was able to get it right. I think it is a song where you can hear Luce's precious low tone.

Nishikiori: There was a part where I was in charge of dialogue, and I put my heart and soul into it.
