It was announced that Isao Sasaki will sing the OP theme song for "Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love Chapter 4, Tenmei Arc," which will be screened from January 27, 2018 (Saturday). Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love" is a sequel to "Space Battleship Yamato 2199," a remake of the classic "Space Battleship Yamato" that became a hot topic. As the title suggests, the film is inspired by the 1978 animated film "Farewell Space Battleship Yamato: Warriors of Love." Three years after Yamato completes its voyage to Iskandar, the threat of the battle nation of Gatlantis, the Imperial Star, looms over a recovering Earth, and the Yamato crew faces a new voyage to confront it. This time, I was asked to sing like I did when I first sang the theme song for "Space Battleship Yamato. Perhaps because of my age, I sang a little too rounded or too beautifully for "Space Battleship Yamato 2199.
Maybe it was because of the storyline of "Yamato," but the image of the work was inevitably heavy. I thought I wanted to break through that. But I didn't think I would have to start from scratch. I thought I would just add a few instruments to the original song and raise the tempo. The tempo was considerably increased, wasn't it?
This time, I wanted the song to be a bit rough and rugged, or rather, to have the feeling of "I'm going on a journey, and I'm going to confront someone or something! I sang the song with an awareness of the heroic spirit of "I'm going on a journey and confronting something!

The opening day and second day stage greetings were held on the stage, with Daisuke Ono, who plays the main character, Susumu Ancient, and other members of the cast and crew. The first day's stage greeting will also be available for live viewing.
