HAKUMEI and MIKOCHI" to start airing on January 12, episode 1 synopsis & advance cuts!

The first episode of "Hakumei and Mikochi," which will finally start airing on January 12, 2018, has arrived with a synopsis and advance cuts.


Hakumei and Mikochi" is a popular comic series by Yuto Kashiki serialized in the manga magazine "HARUTA". An anime adaptation was announced in August 2017, directed by Masaomi Ando of "Kuzu no Honkai" fame, with series composition by Reiko Yoshida of "Weak Mushi Pedal" and "Non no Bi Yori" fame. The animation is produced by Lerche, an up-and-coming animation studio that has produced "Monster Musume no iru Nichijo" and "Kuzu no Honkai." Together with Kusanagi, a group of artisans in charge of background art, they have vividly expressed a beautiful world full of greenery.
"Hakumei and Mikochi," which depicts the daily life of a kobito living in the forest, will be adapted into an anime!   Produced by animation studio Lerche

Hakumei and Mikochi, two little girls who live in a deep green forest. Today, they bought a chest of drawers, but it looks too big to fit in the entrance hall. While Mikochi is worried about making lunch, an announcement arrives: "A sunset kite has been spotted. A large bird with bright red feathers, this legendary creature is said to grant you one wish if you meet it at dawn. The "Sunset Tombi" is a legendary creature that grants you a wish if you meet it at dawn.
