The TV anime "A Place Farther Than the Sky" has released an advance cut and synopsis of its third episode.

Farther Than the Universe" is an original TV animation that depicts the adolescence of four girls who continue their journey to Antarctica, which is "farther than the universe," about 14,000 km away from Japan. Directed by Atsuko Ishizuka, series composition and script by Juki Hanada, and animation production by MADHOUSE, this is a highly anticipated new work by the "No Game, No Life" animation team, who have teamed up again.

Kimari and her friends gather in Hose's room to search for a way for high school students to go to the South Pole, smartphone in hand. Just when Kimari and her friends thought it would be impossible to find an easy way, they find an article about Yuzuki Shiraishi, a high school girl and actress, accompanying an Antarctic expedition with a news crew. ＜STORY
A place farther away than the universe. Kimari, a.k.a. Tamaki Mari, a girl in her second year of high school who has always wanted to start something but has never been able to take the first step, meets a girl named Kobuchizawa Shirase, who is aiming for the South Pole. Kimari is moved by Hose's refusal to give up, even when told that there is no way a high school student can go to the South Pole, and she vows to go with Hose to the South Pole. ......
