Overlord" is a TV anime based on the popular fantasy novel by Kugane Maruyama (illustrated by so-bin, KADOKAWA), which has sold over 4.1 million copies.

The story is set in "Yggdrasil," an interactive online game that was scheduled to end its service, and depicts a lonely, dull young man who loves games in the real world as a powerful wizard in skeletal form who leads his own guild.
