Golden Kamuy" to air in April 2018; opening theme to be by MAN WITH A MISSION!

It has been announced that MAN WITH A MISSION will perform the opening theme for the TV anime "Golden Kamui," which will air in April 2018.

Golden Kamui" is a popular comic currently serialized in Weekly Young Jump by Satoru Noda. Set in Hokkaido at the end of the Meiji Era, the story follows the adventures of a former army soldier, Saichi Sugimoto, and an Ainu girl, Ashi (Ri-pa), who are after the buried treasure of the Ainu people. The film also features realistic depictions of Ainu culture, customs, and cuisine, making it an enjoyable piece of historical entertainment.Directed by Hittoshi Namba of "Fate/Grand Order -First Order-," with series composition by Noboru Takagi of "Kuroko no Basketball" and character design by Kenichi Onuki, character animation director for "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron Blood Orphens. Production will be handled by Geno Studio of "Slaughterhouse Organ".

It has been announced that the opening theme will be performed by MAN WITH A MISSION. This collaboration was decided because the Japanese wolf appears in "Golden Kamui," and MAN WITH A MISSION has collaborated with the "Golden Kamui" character on the cover of "Weekly Young Jump" in the past.

I collaborated with him once on the cover of Young Jump, and now that it's the theme song for the animation, I'm really happy to hear that he is happy with the work he has been reading!
