ClariS "Hitorigoto" took the top spot for the year! The song is from the OP of the popular anime "Eromanga Sensei!
This is a light pop tune from the OP of the popular anime "Eromanga Sensei". The bouncy ska rhythm and the beautiful voice of the singer are irresistible, and the song attracted a large number of viewers.
The ED song, TrySail's "adrenaline! also ranked in fifth place. The popularity of "Eromanga-sensei" songs can be seen from this ranking.

The second place went to "BONAPETEET♡S", the OP of "blend・S". It is an energetic song sung by "Blend A," a unit composed of Azumi Waki, Akari Kito, and Anne Haruno, who also appear in the anime.
Third place went to "Welcome to Japari Park," the OP of "Kemono Friends. This is another hit anime song sung by "Animal Biscuits x PPP," a unit of voice actors who appear in the anime. Both of these works were highly popular in Anipota's popularity polls. In particular, "Welcome to Japari Park" has been used in terrestrial music programs and TV commercials, and has become a hit song heard in various places. The top-ranked songs were also linked to the popularity of the anime.

Other top-ranked songs included No. 6 Aqours "Yuuki wa doko ni doko ni? Kimi no Mune ni! (Love Live! Sunshine! (2nd season)), "Blooming Days" by Nana Abe & Kyoko Igarashi & Chieri Ogata & Uta-ring Domyoji & Misuzu Hayasaka (THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS GEKI (2nd season)) at No.8, "Hanakotoba" by Sanju Junior High School Yuusha Club (Yuna Yuki wa yusha de iru -Sumi Washio no chapters -/-), and "Hanakotoba" by Sanju Junior High School Yusha Club (No.9) (Yuna Yuuki is a Brave Woman -Sumi Washio's Chapter-), many songs with strong character song characteristics ranked high. It seems that anime songs by the cast are popular, perhaps because they reflect the worldview of the work.

In fourth place was "Itsukude bokura no koi ha 10 cm dakatta," a romance anime popular among junior high and high school students. The number four song was "Tokyo Winter Session" by HoneyWorks featuring Yu Setoguchi, Natsuki Enomoto, Sota Mochizuki, Akari Hayasaka, Haruki Serizawa, and Mio Goda from the romance anime "Itsukutte Bokura no Koi wa 10 Centimeters. The song had already gained popularity on video-sharing sites, and its ranking was probably understandable.

Seventh place went to aki's "Clione no Torori" (Clione's Lantern), which took the dantotsu first place in last year's annual poll. Although it regrettably did not take first place for the second year in a row, it showed its high popularity.

At No. 10 was Linked Horizon's "Dedicate Your Heart! (Shinkage no Kyojin Season 2). The overwhelming popularity of the theme song "Kouren no Yumiya" from Season 1 of "Shinkage no Kyojin" is impressive, and this song is also a hot and intense song.

What do you think of the anime song scene in 2017, which seems to have been dominated by songs that are more in line with the world and image of the anime? What kind of anime songs can we expect to see in 2018? And which songs will be the best of the year? We can't wait to find out.
