Since its release in 1987, "Mega Man" has sold a total of 32 million copies (as of September 30, 2017), and an animated version has also been produced.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of "Mega Man," Kotobukiya will be re-releasing plastic kits of Mega Man, Bruce, Zero, and Roll.
