Slapstick Sengoku gag anime "Nobunaga no Shinobi" to produce third season! The main staff will continue from the first and second seasons!

Production of the third season of "Nobunaga's Ninja," a slapstick warring states gag anime serialized in Young Animal (Hakusensha), has been decided.

The four-panel manga "Nobunaga's Ninjas," written by Naoki Shigeno and serialized in Young Animal (Hakusensha), follows Nobunaga Oda and his ninja girl Chidori as they aim to unite the country with their comrades. The second season, "Nobunaga's Ninja: Ise-Kanegasaki Arc," aired in July 2017. While at first glance a comical historical gag anime, it is an appealing work with a robust story based on historical facts.

This time, it was announced that the production of the third season "Nobunaga's Ninja: Anegawa/Iseyama Arc" has been decided and is scheduled to air in April 2018.

This work, a sequel to "Nobunaga's Ninja: Ise/Kanegasaki Arc," which aired until September 2017, will depict the "Battle of Anegawa," a fierce battle that will go down in history. The battle between the Oda and Tokugawa forces and the Asai and Asakura forces will be handled by the same main staff as in the first and second seasons, including director Akitaro Daichi.
