Eri Kitamura's new single "Mousou Teikoku Gramophone" is an "ideal song" that she has finally found.

Eri Kitamura, a.k.a. Kitaeri, has released a new single, "Mousou Teikoku Gramophone," the opening theme song for the TV anime "Gudamen," a "bizarre" song that fits in with the comical and poisonous nature of the show. The lyrics were written by Kitaeri herself, and the music was composed by Utsu P, bassist of the loud rock band "Ohayo Gozaimasu" and also active as a vocaloid P. The song has a unique worldview. Kitaeri said, "I always wanted to sing a song like this. We asked Kitaeri to share her passionate thoughts on the song.

Kitamura: Yes, I wrote the lyrics for the title track, "Mousou Teikoku Gramophone," as well as all the other songs. I want to appeal to the audience.

What did you want to do with this single?

Kitamura: This is the first Kitamura song of the new year, and since I am now 30 years old, I wanted to give it the feel of a professional (laughs). Kitamura: The opportunity to sing the opening song for the TV anime "gd Men," a work with a surreal and comical worldview, as well as dirty and edgy elements, gave me a wonderful chance to sing a strange, tricky, and sharp song. Kitamura It is not only a fast song, but also a melodious song that makes you listen to it, and a song that has the strength to lead me.
