Tokyo's 23 wards under a low-temperature advisory; water table at UDX Plaza freezes in Akihabara

A low temperature advisory was issued for the first time in 33 years, making today, Thursday, January 25, the coldest day of this winter in Tokyo's 23 wards.

In Akihabara, the water basin at Akihabara UDX's UDX Plaza froze. Frost and icicles were falling at the edges, creating a slightly fantastic scene that is not usually seen.
