Dare ga Shigatsu" is an anime work based on Kotoyama's manga serialized in Weekly Shōnen Sunday. The comedy centers on the son of the heir to a candy shop and the daughter of a candy maker who is a candy fanatic. In the original manga, the names of candy bars that everyone knows, such as "Umaibo," "Young Donut," and "Butamen," appear in real life. It also gained popularity by introducing fun ways to eat them and recipes for adding a little something extra.
