The stage that connected the past and present of "Pripara"! Mini live report on the release commemoration of i☆Ris 15th single "Memorial"!

Seiyu idol unit "i☆Ris" will release its 15th single "Memorial" on February 21 (Wed.). And to celebrate the release, a release event was held on January 21 (Sun.) at Ikebukuro Sunshine City ALPA B1 Fountain Square.

It was the first time since the 9th single "Dream Parade" that a re-release event was held at the fountain plaza. The venue was a place that the girls had longed to be at that time, but now they all looked calm and relaxed, showing the accumulation of the two and a half years that the girls have been performing there.

Memorial" is the OP theme of "Idol Time Prettypara" 4th season, and it is the first opening for "Idol Time Prettypara" as i☆Ris. Therefore, they performed a total of three songs including the OP theme song of the previous TV anime "Pripara" at the mini live.

The fountain square was packed with spectators even before the mini live started. Many women could be seen, giving the impression that the fan base is steadily expanding. Then the members of i☆Ris appeared on stage!　They were welcomed with loud cheers.

The first song to get the audience excited was "Make it!" Yuki Wakai, who is always energetic in her greetings, was leading the audience with her singing on this day. Then, Miyu Kubota, the "princess of the Wan Wan Kingdom" said, "I'm not a senior, but I'm a dog girl! and struck a cute pose. Azusaki Shibuya, who has been working on costumes for i☆Ris recently, explained that she used a lot of lace to make the costumes more mature and that the numbers on the hair accessories were the birth months. Saki Yamakita and Serizawa were appealing to the audience. This positional neighborly relationship was naturally alive and well in 2018.

About the new song "Memorial," Yu Serizawa said, "The dance was choreographed in a memorial style, so please pay attention to the interlude!　Also, I think you can enjoy the lyrics if you connect them with "Make it""," said Ms. Himika Akaneya. The song "Memorial" had a sparkling feel, but it also had a bit of sadness, which seemed to fit the girls' age. In the dance, the beginning of the song was like tick-tocking the hands of a clock, and the famous scene where the girls split into SoLaMi♡SMILE and DressingPafé (an idol unit made up of the characters played by the members in the "Pripara" movie) and crack open a Purichiken was recreated. ....... The dance and songs were full of the love for "Pripara," as if one could feel the path they have taken together from "Pripara" to "Idol Time Pripara.

The third song, "Realize!" ("Pripara" 3rd cool OP theme), ended the mini live with even more gusto and excitement. It still wasn't enough!
