Luffy! Sanji is there! Chopper is there! I have seen the holographic work "ONE PIECE" at DMM VR THEATER!

A completely original holographic work of the popular anime "ONE PIECE," "ONE PIECE Dramatic Stage THE METAL: Remembering Marine Ford," is currently being shown to rave reviews at "DMM VR THEATER" in Yokohama.

This is a completely original work being shown at "DMM VR THEATER," the world's first permanent 3DCG holographic theater. It is a newly drawn original story that depicts the battle between Luffy and the "Straw Pirates" and Navy Commander Gradle, who is a master of the new devil fruit "Meta Meta no Mi". The film also features famous scenes from the Summit War at Marine Ford, and is full of other highlights.

The editorial department arrived at the venue. And there is Bartolomeo, who is peeking inside fearfully! When we peeked inside together, we found that the ...... site was completely covered in One Piece.

Not only are there pop-ups of the Strawberry members, but there are also newly-drawn trick arts that are perfect for Instagram.

The highlight of this year's event will be limited-edition goods featuring the characters in the main visual of the show, and a collaboration menu that can only be enjoyed at the theater.

Nami's mikan drink with collagen and hyaluronic acid julep, Ace's jelly drink full of mela mela, Zoro's three-knife churritos, and many other character-inspired menu items are available!　I tried Nami's drink just for the sake of it, but the jelly seemed to be good for the skin. I tried Nami's drink for myself, and the jellies seemed to be good for my skin.

Now, with food and drinks in hand, it was time to start the show!

The venue looks a bit like a movie theater, but the stage is just like a theater. I wondered what kind of images would be shown there, but then, at ・・・・・・, life-size characters appeared on stage!

The characters are there to give a realistic performance with a sense of presence, just like in a play. This is fresh!

Taking advantage of the three-dimensional images, the characters on stage rotate 360 degrees during the special attack scenes as if they were on a trick stage, and effects explode across the stage, making for a spectacular performance.

The groove of the show is like that of a 2.5-dimensional play. However, the characters actually appear in the play. The mysterious images that are only possible in VR pop out one after another.

There are also scenes in which the characters instruct the entire audience to wave the flesh-shaped penlights given to them upon entering the theater in unison, creating a sense of unity throughout the venue.

This is a fun experience that must be seen and experienced in person. It is inevitable that you will be drawn in by the unprecedented charm of the images.

In addition, One Piece is collaborating with Yokohama to commemorate the opening of the movie, and is currently holding a stamp rally using an AR application. One Piece characters will appear in the Yokohama Station West Exit area and Minato Mirai area.
